Greytown Heritage Trust
The Greytown Heritage Trust is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to preserving and celebrating the rich history of Greytown in South Wairarapa, the first planned inland town in New Zealand.
With a passion for protecting the town’s distinctive buildings, trees, and streetscapes, the Trust has played a vital role since its beginnings as the Greytown Community Heritage Trust in 1993.
Today, the Greytown Heritage Trust continues to uphold heritage bylaws, champion significant projects like the popular Heritage Walking and Cycle Routes, and foster community pride in Greytown’s unique character.
