The happiest festival in New Zealand may be free to attend, but it certainly isn’t free to put on. In order to bring the joy to 60,000 people over the month of July, it requires significant investment. We simply would not have this festival without the support of our incredible partners, businesses and individuals, and for this we are externally grateful.

This festival supports local jobs, and brings together businesses, community groups, and visitors to our corner of the world to spend time together to create special memories, in a way that no other event does. The White Swan Country Hotel, or as locals call it, The Swan, is an iconic country hotel in the heart of Greytown, with a real passion for the Wairarapa region. We celebrate the best of what’s on offer by connecting visitors and locals through our food, beverages, and accommodation.
The Festival of Christmas is an event close to our hearts and we’re right in the centre of it all, offering warm rural hospitality amid many festival events and activities.
The Festival delivers joy and wonder to Greytown village, and each year seems to be even more memorable than the last! It is an absolute pleasure to support and take part in this annual festival.

Our commitment includes donating monthly from our community fund to support deserving individuals and groups, and supporting local wherever we can. We invest in our team’s careers through training and development, working with Wairarapa Youth to create rewarding job opportunities.
