Party Time is the theme of the 10th anniversary of the region-wide culinary event, WOAP. But all is not what it appears to be at the Greytown Hotel, where the team has taken their inspiration for the infamous food festival from the most intriguing party of all: The Masquerade!
The Greytown Hotel has been offering fabulous food in their warm and welcoming hotel in the beautiful South Wairarapa since 1860. Join hosts, Ursula and Tony Murphy, at what locals affectionately call the Top Pub, for a three-course menu that will deceive your eyes and tantalise your taste buds with each course as delicious and intriguing as the next.
A rich oxtail presenting as a tomato, a roasted quail posing as a chicken, dessert masquerading as eggs and chips and an entire BBQ captured in a burger, this team is seriously bringing the food fun to the party!
The Masquerade Menu
Red wine-braised oxtail in a roasted tomato
Quail stuffed with chicken on roasted vegetables, with a tomato, red wine, and balsamic sauce
Apple cinnamon wedges, set vanilla crème, toasted marshmallow and plumb semifreddo
Three courses — $55
